I'm thinking of your family today. So very sorry for the loss of your Mother. Galena admirably raised some very good men. I know your hearts are broken. The Oney Kids are thinking of you today.
Galena tried to teach me to crochet once. I sat on the floor of your house at Oney, at her feet. She was in the chair near the front door. I needed many more lessons and much more patience. I bought hooks and yarn with my peanut sacking money, still have them. But I never did go back for more lessons.
I know the pain of her loss is great. The tears will flow easily for many days to come. The smiles will come too. Take them. She would be delighted if her family would remember the good times today. You are a wonderful strong family. Lean on each other. I'm certain that she is proud of her boys and the love that you have for each other. I'm equally certain that she knew just how much she was loved by each of you.
Sending Hugs and Blessings Your Way, Cindy Lea Kelley (Oliphant)
